Man gets 8 years for raping a 12-year-old girl

43-year-old Khadga Bahadur BK has been sent to jail for eight years for raping a twelve-year-old girl in Sotang of Solukhumbu. A single bench of District Court Solukhumbu Justice Deepak Kumar Kharel on Tuesday issued jail sentence to BK for raping a local girl on last July. The bench also ordered to grant compensation of Rs 50,000 to the victim family, informed Court´s Registrar Durga Prasad Bhattarai.
