District court of Bhaktapur has sentenced Chandra Prakash Dhami, 32yrs, of Mahendranagar and Man Kumar Dhami, 28yrs of Piskar, Sindhupalchowk to ten years in prison after finding them guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl. In a verdict issued by a bench of district court justice, Nagendralal Karna the accused were also ordered to pay a fine of rupees fifty thousand each for the purpose of compensating the victim. The victim's brother had lodged a complaint against the two accused in metropolitan police office Bhaktapur on 21 Shrawan 2070 saying that they had raped the victim on 29 Asar 2070. Police had arrested the two on the same day.
