District Court of Nawalparasi has directed Nepal Police to remand 31-year-old Sanjay Gurung of Tamsariya VDC-7 into custody on the charges of raping a 15-year-old girl from the same place. Reportedly Sanjay Gurung raped the girl on February 8, 2015, when there was no one at her home. Nepal Police arrested the accused after the victim lodged a complaint against the accused in Nawalpur police station.
