A five-year-old girl was raped in Nauthar village of Lamjung. The minor was allegedly raped by 19-year-old local Dhan Bahadur Gurung on Friday afternoon, police said. The minor was raped at her own home in Kabaki, Nauthar-9 while there was no adult, according to police. Meanwhile, police have already nabbed the suspect and produced him before the District Court. The Court on Tuesday remanded him to seven-day police custody for further investigations. The victim underwent a medical test at the District Community Hospital and police are studying the medical report. Police Inspector Rajendra Adhikari said further investigation is underway.
