Amid a series of rape cases reported for last few days, a 15-year-old girl was raped in Birgunj, Parsa district headquarters, on Saturday. The teenage girl from Birgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-3 of the district was allegedly raped by local Sanjit Karna (30) this morning, police said. Karna tempted the victim to come to his room this morning and committed the crime, police claimed. The suspect had fled the scene after the incident. But, police nabbed him from Birgunj this evening. Police have sent both Karna and the victim for medical tests. The investigation into the case is underway.
