Women in Pokhara came to the street against the various incidents of rape in the country. They demanded stern action against the perpetrators of rape cases in Pokhara and in other places throughout the country. Representatives of various women's groups, clubs, political parties, and students participated in the street rally which was organized by the main body of the Campaign against the rape committee. In the program, women's rights activists demanded the right to legal provisions for tough action against all the perpetrators of rape.
