A man charged with raping a 10-year-old girl in Chitwan has been remanded in judicial custody. Mukunda Humagain, a resident of Bhandara in Chitwan was remanded in custody on Tuesday by the order of the district court. Humagain was arrested on the charging of raping the minor at her home on February 19. He was arrested two days later after the family filed a complaint at the police officer. Women's right activist had pressured the police to launch an impartial investigation into the case.
