Metropolitan Police Commissioner's Office, Ranipokhari, Kathmandu informed that they have arrested an acid attacker on two schoolgirls at a tuition centre in Basantapur of Kathmandu adding that they will make him public at 11 am today. The arrestee is identified as Jivan BK, 22. The two injured are Sangita Magar, 16, who is originally from Khaniya-8 Ramechhap and is currently residing in Jaisidewal, and Sima Basnet, 15, originally from Paurahi-1 of Rauthat district and currently residing in Bhimsensthan. Both the acid attack survivors Magar and Basnet are taking their SLC exams. Magar is appearing the board exams with help of assistance from the hospital's bed at KMC Hospital in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
