Bandi Mishra, 30, of Mainakaderi VDC-3 and living at Rajbiraj Municipality-8 has been acquitted in a polygamy case on March 18. A single bench of District Court judge Ram Prasad Adhikari gave her clean chit stating that her husband Pranit Mishra had already died and she was unknown about his first marriage. Shilu Jha Mishra, 32, of Rajbiraj Municipality-2 and first wife of deceased Pranit had lodged a complaint of polygamy against him at DPO on October 8, 2012.
