The District Court sent 30-year-old Bachu Harijan of Rupandehi a temporary resident of Bagar in Pokhara Sub-metropolis-1 to custody on March 19 for investigation of a rape attempt on a 6-year-old girl. District Court Judge Ram Prasad Oli ordered to remand Harijan in custody. The family of the girl filed an FIR at the District Police Office on March 1, 2015, accusing Harijan of attempting rape on February 28. DPO said that the accused has been remanded in custody as per the court order. Harijan was arrested on the day the complaint was filed. He is charged under rape attempt.
