Police arrested 56-year-old Gorakh Bahadur Thapa on the charges of molesting girl students. A teacher at a higher secondary school in Nijgadh, Thapa was arrested on March 22 on the charges of molesting an 8-year-old girl. The family of the girl had filed an FIR at the police office on March 22. Inspector Kailash Rai of the Area Police Office Nijgadh said that the teacher had been held in custody after extending his remand for four days. He added that Thapa was released with a warning on a similar charge previously.
