A 17-year-old girl from Pipalmadhi VDC of Sindhuli was raped by Devraj Jimwa of the same place while she had gone for grazing cattle in the jungle. According to the information provided by the local police inspector Rajendra Thapa, the accused raped her after finding her alone in the jungle. Although the incident occurred around two months ago on January 18 the victim could not lodge a complaint in the police due to the threat of the perpetrator. After police registered the case against him the accused is absconding and police have issued a search warrant for him.
