Hunger strike against decision to revert establishment of service center

 Pressing the government to implement its earlier decision to establish branches of District Land Revenue Office and Survey Office in town, the local chapter of the Chamber of Commerce of Industry, various political parties and the Tharu Kalyankari Sangh demonstrated in Chandranigahpur on Tuesday. They have started a relay hunger strike demanding a separate centre to provide administrative services to the people in 16 VDCs in the northern part of Rautahat. In a symbolic move, protesters have also established a dummy land revenue service centre in Chandranigahapur Chowk.
