84-year-old Khadga Samsher Thakuri of Okhre VDC-9 has been arrested by the police on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl on January 25 when she was alone in her house. The accused elderly had gone into hiding after the victim's family lodged a complaint against him in the police on January 27. Police arrested Khadga Samsher on Wednesday, April 8, from his home and brought him to DPO Terhathum for further investigation.
