Four Student's Union of Kailai has indefinitely padlocked private schools in Kailai demanding the reversal of the increase in school fee. Four schools had been vandalized while they were padlocked. The student's unions demanded the end of the School fee hike, the closure of schools running without permission of DEO, and an end to the commercialization of education. Chairman of ANNISU Kailali Choodamani Bhatta said 'schools will remain padlocked until the decision to increase the school fee will be reversed'.
