Earthquake victim's protest before municipality office demanding tarpaulins

 Locals frightened by the continuous strike of the big earthquake have protested before Kamalamai Municipality office here in the district headquarter Sindhulimadhi demanding tarpaulins. The district municipality remained tense throughout the day due to the sit-in before it's the gate by protesters who turned up in a number of hundreds. They accused that the municipality secretary had discriminated in tarpaulin distribution by providing some households more than the necessary number of tarpaulins and providing nothing to other households. Many houses that survived the big earthquake of April 25 have been badly damaged by Tuesday's earthquake whose magnitude was measured at 6.8 richter scales by the National Earthquake Measurement Centre. Most houses have been rendered unlivable by Tuesday's earthquake. According to DSP Shyam Kumar Mahato 36-year-old Ishowri Khatiwada of Majhuwa-3 and 75-year-old Man, Bahadur Waiba of Netrakali-8 have been killed due to Tuesday's earthquake and around 49 people in the district have been injured.
