Police confiscated relief materials, meant for earthquake victims, concealed at a godown in Dhunge Adda, on the outskirts of Kathmandu, on Tuesday. Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati, carried out a surprise raid at the godown of Pashupati Transport belonging to Rajendra Prasad Gupta and confiscated 25 blankets and 21 tarpaulin sheets. Police, however, informed that Gupta is on the run following the raid. Further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
