District Police Office in Rolpa arrested two persons in connections with the raping of a woman by holding her captive. The arrested were identified as 34-year-old Gopal Budha from Gairigaun VDC-5 and his accomplice 26-year-old Jarsimali Sunar from Kotgau VDC-4. Jarsimali lured the victim to district headquarter Liwang saying that she would buy mobile for the victim. Once in Liwang Jarsimali introduced the victim to Gopal, also known as Jhakas. Jhakas then raped the victim by holding her captive in a hotel for 5 days. The victim reported that while in captivity she was also raped by two other men who Jhakas had brought along. The perpetrator threatened to kill her if she told about the incident to anyone. Police are conducting further investigation into the incident after the arrest of the two accused. Police have also intensified search for the capture of the two others involved in the rape.
