A teacher was arrested by the police on the charges of attempting to rape his own student in Aanpchaur-6 VDC of Gulmi. 46-year-old Krishna Ghimire, a teacher of Rashtriya Higher Secondary School allegedly tried to rape a 16-year-old student in the Red Cross building near the school. On Thursday students protested and shouted slogans against the teacher demanding severe punishment for his actions. The arrested teacher is being held in custody for further investigation.
