Udayapur Police on Tuesday arrested Dhan Rishi Acharya on the charge of stabbing his wife at Beltar-Basaha municipality on Tuesday morning. Acharya who was staying at his in-law’s house in Udayapur, hit his wife Maya BK, 26, with the intention of killing her on Monday night. Acharya, who had been at large after the incident, was arrested from Beltar area. Maya has been referred to as Kathmandu for treatment. She has serious injuries on the head, nose, and leg, said police.
