Flood water from Biring and Tangting River breached an embankment and inundated ward number 3, 4 and 5 of Khudunabari VDC. The flood water has destroyed 80 houses while more than 500 houses are at risk of being destroyed. According to police flood from Biring, Ratuwa, Mechi, Mawa, Mala Rivers have inundated around 400 houses at various villages in the district and around 100 families have been displaced. Similarly, flood from Kankai River have inundated around 300 houses at Taghandubba VDC-9 and Sharnamati VDC-8.
