District Police Office, Nuwakot has registered case against an elderly man from Khanigau VDC-1, 15 Kilometers east of district headquarter Bidur, in the court on charge of raping a mentally challenged girl. Inspector Birendra Thapa informed that police have sought maximum punishment for the guilty elderly man from the court. The accused rapist had sexually abused a 17-year-old mentally challenged girl who also happens to be his neighbour by taking her to his house on June 16, 2015. Police had arrested him from his house based on the complaint of the victim's parent.
