A joint team of police and Shakti Samuha has rescued a 15-year-old girl from a restaurant at Srijana Chok in Pokhara sub-metropolis-8 on July 5. The girl was brought from Parbat district with a promise of ensuring her education. She was rescued after learning that the girl was being sexually exploited. Shakti Samuha on behalf of the girl has filed a complaint on her behalf at Women and Children. The girl is currently kept at the shelter run by Shakti Samuhua. Inspector Chandra Gurung said that the owner of the restaurant has been summoned for discussion of the case and a charge will be pressed if needed.
