The district court of Okhaldhunga has sentenced 53-year-old Jit Maya Sunuwar, the defendant found guilty in the murder of Ram Bahadur Raya of Chyanam-2 to life imprisonment. The court also sentenced Dhan Kumari Sunuwar, an accomplice in the murder case to 3 years in prison. Meanwhile, the court has given a clean chit to Dhan Maya Sunuwar and Mana Maya Sunuwar, the other defendants in the same murder case. Ram Bahadur was found murdered in a cliff near his own house on April 17, 2014.
