Protest against arrest of Kamal Nayan Aacharya's successor in Nawalparasi

Followers of Swami Kamal Nayan Aacharya have launched protest against the arrest of Swami Kamal Nayan Aacharya's successor Swami Krishna by the authorities of Chitwan National Park. The National park authorities had arrested Swami Krishna from Belatari. Kamal Nayan is accused of illegally constructing ashrams and temples by capturing more than 25 bighas of the National park's land in Triveni section of the park. For more than 10 years the authorities had tried to evict him from the place, but had not succeeded. Followers have padlocked Chitwan National Park's office in triveni and Area Forest Office in Kawasoti. They have also launched protest programs in Triveni and district headquarter Parasi. Spokesperson of Chitwan National Park, Tika Ram Poudel informed that Swami Krishna is being held in National park's main office at Kasara. Ranger Laxman Raya, game scouts and army men from Bhairabi barrack had arrested Krishna at around 6:00pm yesterday. '
