An Indian national has been arrested in possession of a weapon at Birgunj-18 in the district. Jhotil Pasawan, 45, of West Champaran district of Bihar, India, was held with an automatic pistol and a gun on Tuesday night, police said. Security personnel also seized pistol’s magazines and seven rounds of bullets used in the gun. Police raided the area after being tipped-off that some Indian criminals entered Birgunj. The suspect was nabbed while he was on his way to New Buspark from Pratimachok on foot.
