At a time when the feedback collection on the statute draft is going on, Brahman Samaj in Gulmi has staged protest rally in Tamghas today demanding that Nepal be declared a Hindu state. The rally which began at 8:00am in the morning turned into a corner meet at Laakurimanch. During the rally the participants chanted slogans in favour of Hindu state. Speaking at the program chairman of Brahman Samaj Gulmi, Sashi Panthi warned that they would launch massive protest if Nepal was declared a secular state. The participants also submitted memorandum to lawmakers demanding Nepal to be declared a Hindu state.
