Protest to demand former Legislator's release

Supporters of former Legislator Kushahava demonstrated for his unconditional release on Saturday. The former Legislator had been arrested on charge of vandalizing his neighbours home and misbehaving with police.
As a reaction around 300 protesters, among them family members and supporters of Nepali Congress, UCPN(M) and Sadbhavna Party staged a sit-in at Bharatchowk in Kailaya on Saturday to demand Kushahava's unconditional release and protest 'police oppression'.
