Domestic Violence victim chooses to file for divorce in Jumla

Maya GC, 31, of Lud in Birat VDC-8 filed for divorce from her husband Man Bahadur GC, 45, on July 28.
Her appeal says that Man Bahadur had neglected her and the couple’s son.
She said that he was with his second wife and that she was in Naubasta VDC-8.
District Court registrar Pusparaj Pandey said that the case was in due process.
