Student bodies agitating with various demands have vandalized three education institutions in Ghorahi and Tulsipur on July 30. The student wings have called for indefinite education institution shut-down since July 30 protest non-implementation of their past agreements to shut down non-registered private schools, return of fee-hike, timely distribution of student scholarship among others. The protesting students vandalized chair, table and glasses of the window of the library of Gyansindhu Higher Secondary School. Likewise, they also vandalized the Iron gate Tuition Centre in Ghorahi and Tulsipur-based Everest Technical Institute for defying their shut-down. Hukum Budhathoki, principal of Gyansindhu Higher Secondary School said that the students suddenly came while classes were being conducted and vandalized the library. ANNFSU, ANNI SU-R, ANNI SU-R close to Biplav led CPN-M and ANNI SU-R close to Baidhya led CPN-M called for the shut-down. ANNFSU District Chairperson Birbal Khadka said that the agitation would continue until their demands were met.
