Police arrested 60-year-old Tul Bahadur Shahi on the charges of raping a 7-year-old minor girl from Kohalpur on 18 April. According to police Shahi raped the minor girl by taking her to a river near his home. The incident came into light when the girl's parents interrogated her after noticing psychological changes in her behavior. Shahi was immediately arrested by police after the girl's parents lodged a complaint against him in the police. The arrested also happens to be a relative of the minor.
