Normal life in Parsa district has been affected by early morning today due to the shut down called by Hindu State Struggle Committee, Parsa. The Committee has put forth five different demands including Nepal be declared a Hindu state in the constitution. Markets, industries, and educational institutions have closed down while the vehicles leaving for long and short routes have also remained off the road, through the life out of gear. The agitators have been staging protests from early morning in the busy areas of the town. The District Police Office said that the agitators have smashed the windows of two trucks in Birgunj. RSS
