Normal life has been affected due to the bandh called in districts of Bheri and Karnali zone against the demarcation of states. Bandh and other protest programs have been organized in Surkhet, Dailekh and Jumla district from Sunday demanding an undivided Mid-west region. Protesters have also organized bandh in Kalikot and Jajarkot. Similarly, transportation service, school, colleges, banks and other industries remain bandh in Banke and Bardiya district due to the bandh called by the proponents of Tharuhat state.
