Students of Makawanpur multiple campuses have set fire in some offices of the campus by throwing a petrol bomb today over a dispute about filling examination form for Bachelor first year. The students hurled a petrol bomb at around 10:00 am in the morning when the management committee of the college was holding a meeting. The fire that was lit due to the petrol bomb has caused damage in the offices of the campus chairman, vice-chairman and management committee chairman. The petrol bomb attack was led by Amrit Bartaula who is the chairman of UCPN Maoist affiliated student wing of Makawanpur Campus unit. Police have arrested Rakesh Maharjan, secretary of National Democratic Student Organization in connection with the incident. The dispute between the students and the management committee took a violent turn after students resorted to arson and vandalism of the campus.
