A man has killed his wife following a dispute over the relief amount provided by the government to earthquake victims. Ram Bahadur Thapa Magar, 40, of Khanigaun VDC-9 killed his wife Menuka Thapa Magar, 40, in the night of August 12 over the relief amount of Rs 15,000, according to the District Police Office. Police have initiated an investigation after arresting Ram Bahadur on August 13. According to neighbors, Ram Bahadur had received the amount from the government on August 12 and finished it spending on booze. DSP Arun Paudel said that body of Menuka was found with her throat slit by khukuri by her husband over the dispute on the spending of the relief amount.
