Locals of Goldhunga in Tarkeshwor municipality in Kathmandu district have staged protest accusing the political parties in the area of committing massive irregularity in relief materials brought in for earthquake victims of the area. The situation remained tense in the area due to the protest of locals of ward no 9, 10, 11 and 12 who said that the local leaders of political parties had distributed relief materials to their cadres instead of real earthquake victims. They accused secretary Raju Timilsina of being accomplice in the politician's act. They have demanded investigation into the irregularity in relief distribution. Large number of policemen have been deployed in the area to prevent any untoward incident.
