Tension ran high in Mugu district headquarter today after proponents of 'Autonomous Karnali State' removed the signboards of six government offices in the district headquarter. The irate protesters have placed signboards with 'Karnali Autonomous State' in place of the old ones. Protesters have also vandalized some government offices during the process.
