Civil Societies and Political Parties including CA members from Rukum District have been protesting on the recent agreement of dividing Rukum district into 5 and 6 number Provinces. Similarly, objecting over demarking Salyan district in the 6th Province and demanding to remain in the 5th province Civil Societies and Political Party leaders from Salyan District have enforced Rukum and Salyan District Bandh last week. Bandh enforced for three hours (1200 to 1500hrs) in Rukum. Whereas, 72 Hours General Strike enforced in Salyan district from today, 19 August.
