A woman has filed a complaint in the police against her husband on the charges of expelling her from the house after giving birth to a girl child. 21-year-old Kalawati Dhami from Daiji VDC-4 lodged a complaint against her husband Ram Dhami, 35yrs, in the District police office on August 19. Currently, she has been taking shelter at the District Service Center which was established for victims of gender-based violence like her. Meanwhile, DPO Kanchanpur informed that it had directed the local police officers to arrest the accused.
