Entrepreneurs and Businessmen in Biratnagar have taken out a huge rally against the ongoing bahdh in Terai region. A meeting 21 different business and social organizations held during the afternoon had decided to defy the ongoing bandh enforced by the United Democratic Madhesi Front. They defied the bandh by taking out a rally which consisted of large number of trucks, vans, jeeps, private cars and motorcycle. The rally proceeded from the District Administration Office and circled the town. Normal life in Biratnagar had been severely affected since a few days due to the indefinite bandh called by the Madhesi Front. Entrepreneur Shivashankar Agrawal said that they were compelled to defy the bandh as the bandh enforcers did not heed to their plea requesting the protesters to find other means of protest.
