Nationwide banda called by Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has partially affected life in the Kathmandu Valley. Few public vehicles are plying on the road, but the comparatively higher number of two-wheelers and taxis. Banda enforcers vandalized vehicles in Baudha, Kalanki and Balaju. Meanwhile, security personnel have been stationed injunctions across the Kathmandu Valley. They have arrested over 60 persons for enforcing banda from different parts of Kathmandu. NEFIN has called a two-day banda on Sunday and Monday demanding demarcation of federal states based on identity.
