Nationwide banda called by Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has affected life in Taplejung. Due to the strike short and long distance travel have been affected. Education institution, Markets, industries has been highly affected. No any incident have been reported yet. NEFIN has called a two-day banda on Sunday and Monday demanding demarcation of federal states based on identity.
