United Democratic Madhesi Front and Tharuwan Front's indefinite strike has affected daily life in Kapilvastu. Due to the strike, education institutions, markets, industries, and banks have been highly affected. The strike has also caused a shortage of essential goods like Gas, vegetables, and fruits. Customers have to pay a high price for vegetables. Residents have also requested to open the market after 5 in the evening. Due to the continuous 10 days of strike, the items of daily necessities have reduced and the prices of products have also increased greatly.
