Police arrested an Indian national for raping a five-year-old minor in Dharan Municipality, Sunsari, on Saturday evening. The arrested has been identified as Phatik Sheikh, 42, of West Bengal, India, currently residing in a rented room in Dharan Municipality. The victim’s family said Sheikh had lured the minor with five rupees and some sweets before raping her at her house. A police team arrested Sheikh. He was paraded during a press meet in Area Police Office, Dharan, on Sunday.
