Life in various areas in Nawalparasi district crippled by the shutdown for days has now started returning to normalcy as the market remained open and vehicle movement resumed on Tuesday. The Western Transport Entrepreneurs Committee said that public transportation resumed on the Butwal-Narayanghat-Kathmandu road. Likewise, the markets in Kawasoti, Bardaghat, and Sunawal remained opened. However, the District Administration Office has clamped curfew in the district headquarters, Parasi for seven days starting Monday evening in the wake of ongoing agitations by various groups, forcing the market to remain shut.
