Prohibitory order imposed in Bhairahawa since Saturday has been extended. Local Administration has extended the prohibitory order upto August 30. Initially, the prohibitory order was imposed from Saturday to Wednesday. However, it was extended after the clash between demonstrators and locals on Thursday. CDO of Rupandehi, Bishnu Prasad Dhakal informed that prohibitory order was extended in Bhairahawa considering the condition due to violent movement in Terai. The lives in Bhairahawa and Butwal is returning to normalcy after the extension of the prohibitory order. However, the effect of the bandh is seen in areas where Madhesi Communities are in majority such as Rupandehi Lumbini, Dhakdhai, and Marchwar.
