Indefinite curfew clamped in Birgunj

District Administration Office, Paras has issued indefinite curfew order in Birgunj on Monday. Police Inspector Dibesh Lohani informed curfew has been clamped from 4 pm after the situation remained tense.
Earlier, police lobbed teargas shells and rubber bullets after protesters tried to vandalize a police post in Birgunj.
A person has sustained hand and head injuries in the police firing. The injured is Krishna Patel of Nagawa-10 who is now undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub Regional Hospital.
