Irate cadres of Madhesi Morcha have vandalized the party office of the Nepali Congress (NC) in Mahottari district on Tuesday. The wall, bathroom, signboard and gate of the NC Mahottari District Party Office have been vandalized. Likewise, the cadres have also vandalized the District Election Office, Mahottari. No confrontation has been reported as there was no presence of police personnel during the vandalism. Security personnel are reportedly heading toward the incident site to take stock of vandalism and to contain the situation. Madhesi Morcha that had halted its strike on Friday and Saturday for the festival of Raksha Bandan has resumed it again. Madhesi Morcha has been hitting the streets demanding inclusion of some hill districts in Province-2 and autonomous Madhes Province for weeks.
