The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday lodged a case against two engineers of the Western Irrigation Division on the charge of taking bribe from service-seekers. Ishwori Prasad Dhakal and Yogendra Mishra of the Western Irrigation Office No 7 at Semari of Nawalparasi district were arrested in flagrante delicto on July 5. They were arrested with Rs 56,000 bribe taken from service-seekers. The anti-graft body, in the case filed at the Special Court in Kathmandu, has sought maximum for them, according to the press statement issued by CIAA. अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगले सेवाग्राहीसँग घूस मागेको अभियोगमा पश्चिमाञ्चल सिँचाइ डिभिजन कार्यालयका दुई इन्जिनियरविरुद्ध मंगलबार विशेष अदालतमा मुद्दा दायर गरेको छ । आयोगका अनुसार पश्चिमाञ्चल सिँचाइ डिभिजन कार्यालय नं. ७ सेमरी नवलपरासीमा कार्यरत इन्जिनियर ईश्वरीप्रसाद ढकाल र योगेन्द्र मिश्र सिँचाइ कार्यसम्पन्न मूल्यांकन प्रतिवेदन र बिल भर्पाइको फरफारकका लागि आलटाल गरी सेवाग्राहीसँग ५६ हजार रुपैयाँ घूस लिँदालिँदै पक्राउ परेका थिए । ढकाल र मिश्रलाई हदैसम्मको कारबाहीको माग गर्दै अदालतमा मुद्दा दायर गरिएको आयोगले जनाएको छ ।
