Demonstrations by Muslim/Madhesi Alliance took place on Tuesday in Nepalgunj. Protestors clashed with police at BP Chowk with a few demonstrators injured in police beating. In the evening protest organizers met to plan forthcoming demonstrations. On Aug. 30, police and protestors of the Madhesi/Muslim Alliance had clashed. One demonstrator was arrested for defying curfew order.
